To reduce weight even more, they feature a tapered shape to form to your sleeping bag shape. The tapered shape also makes the packed size even smaller. The Ultra-light features jet stream open cell foam so air will start sucking in as soon as the valve is opened to allow for a quick inflation time. As with all of the ALPS air pads, the Ultra-light series comes with a repair kit and stuff sack... which is something other companies will make you pay extra for.
